Projects
By project, I understand to mean any undertaking - however simple or complex - that has a definite objective to produce one or more pieces of work within a given time frame. On this site, such projects are organised into four distinct categories:

Personal: all projects for which I am personally and exclusively responsible;

Collaborative: all projects in which I am participating as part of a wider group of people;

Professional - European Union: all projects in which I am or have been involved in my professional capacity as an official of the European Union;

Professional - Academic: all projects in which I have been involved as a lecturer or professor in an academic institution.
By these definitions, projects are distinct from
"themes", which are broad areas of research and interest, on an ongoing basis, and for which particular work may be produced from time to time.
